    REMOS Aircraft kicked off the 2010 Model Year by announcing a program of special sales incentives on 2010 REMOS GX aircraft. The announcement was made today by Mr. Donald Kamenz, VP of Sales and Service, during the opening hours of the U.S. Sport Aviation Expo in Sebring, Florida.

    Michael Combs came one important step closer to making the 50 State tour he plans to launch in just under six months: he earned his Sport Pilot’s license. Working with US Aviation in his REMOS GX, dubbed “Hope One”, Combs completed his check ride in just over 43 hours of training.

    Oshkosh, WI – Each summer the Experimental Aircraft Association runs a series of seven Air Academies for kids who have an interest in aviation. This summer 260 campers ages 12 - 18 took the programs that ranged in length from four to eight days.

    Gail “Hal” Halvorsen, 87, proved during the Berlin Airlift that you can catch more flies with honey (or in his case, refined sugar) than vinegar. Now he drops candy to American kids from a German-built, light-sport Remos G–3 600 to demonstrate how 20 tons of candy were dropped to German kids from American-built Douglas DC–4s in 1948 and 1949.

Copies of the G-3 have been shipped to airports across Europe, to Australia, Brazil, Thailand, Morocco and in the past two years to the United States, where they have been registered as Light Sport Aircraft.
