REMOS ships their 250th aircraft

Thu, 2008-05-15

Pasewalk, Germany – Since their first G-3 came off the production line in 1998, the REMOS factory has just completed their 250th aircraft. Copies of the G-3 have been shipped to airports across Europe, to Australia, Brazil, Thailand, Morocco and in the past two years to the United States, where they have been registered as Light Sport Aircraft.

“The REMOS has an outstanding safety record around the globe and in a wide variety of mission profiles,” said USA Managing Director Michael Meirer. “As a Light Sport, REMOS sales have been escalating in the United States. Response from new owners has been positive and enthusiastic. A number of people who had put down deposits on the Cessna SkyCatcher have switched over to a REMOS so they can start flying immediately, instead of in two to three years.”

The REMOS is a two place, composite, high wing design with Rotax power and pilot-friendly handling characteristics. It is the product of extensive German design and flight testing.

What the market response has shown is that the REMOS has a universal appeal. In the past decade, the REMOS has proven that it is highly effective in training environments, adventure flying and for practical cross country flying.

With recent new investment support and the creation of new facilities, the company is committed to long term support of its consumers.
